Jacob Meincke appointed Market Head

An experienced wealth management professional to lead our Aarhus office

Copenhagen; November 10, 2021: Quintet Danmark, a branch of Quintet Private Bank, announced today that it will shortly open an office in Aarhus as part of its long-term Nordic expansion strategy. The firm’s activities there will be led by Jacob Meincke, an experienced wealth management professional who was recently appointed Market Head, Aarhus, at Quintet.

One year after Quintet Danmark launched activities from Copenhagen, Meincke is now in the process of building a team of client advisors in Denmark’s second-largest city, who will work closely with Quintet colleagues in the Danish capital and across Europe. Quintet’s Aarhus office is expected to open in early 2022, after Meincke has established his initial team.

Quintet Danmark currently counts 12 staff in Copenhagen. Over time, Quintet intends to expand its branch network to neighboring Nordic markets such as Sweden and Finland.

Meincke – whose 20-year career has been divided between Denmark’s two largest cities – most recently served as Head of Investments & Holistic Wealth Advice at Danske Bank, where he was earlier Head of Private Banking Elite. He previously served at Jyske Bank, where he led a team responsible for client activity in Eastern Jutland. Meincke – who possesses strong operational skills and deep insight into holistic wealth management and asset management strategies – earned his Masters in Finance from Aarhus University.

“As today’s announcement demonstrates, Quintet is committed to establishing a strong presence in Denmark, with great people like Jacob, and to growing a robust business here, one client at a time,” said Ole Jensby, CEO, Nordics, at Quintet. “We will continue to invest in expanding our presence in the Nordics, a region where independent thinking and entrepreneurship is part of the DNA.”

“I am very happy to welcome Jacob to our growing team of highly motivated colleagues who share the same commitment to doing the right thing for each client we serve,” said Henrik Wyrwik, who leads Quintet Danmark. “Under his experienced leadership, our Aarhus office will become a key contributor to our long-term growth.”

“I am delighted to start the next stage of my professional journey at Quintet, which combines a highly personalized approach to client service with independent advice and open-architecture investment solutions,” Meincke said. “I look forward to getting to know my colleagues in Denmark and across Europe, and contributing to the further growth of this true industry challenger.”
